The Michigan Coalition for Bone Health (MCBH) was created as a result of statewide osteoporosis strategic planning sessions held in August 2005. Members of the MCBH represent all parts of the state and include physicians, nurses, nutritionists, educators, researchers, community members, consumers, and other health professionals.

The mission, vision, and vision priorities for the MCBH were created during the strategic planning process. Each year, the MCBH Leadership Council determines which vision priorities will be the focus for coalition activities.

• National Osteoporosis Foundation Advocacy Training (June 2006)

• Taking Control of Bone and Joint Health: A Practical Perspective (May 2007)
